|Bees love gaillardia...|
|...and rudbeckia and ox eye daisy...|
The flower bank at my allotment is a riot of changing colour; the purple, pink and blue hues of columbine, lavender and foxglove now a haze of red, yellow and orange. Heavily scented orange wallflowers gave way to daylilies, rudbeckia, ox eye daisies and glorious red and orange gaillardia, whose flowers when finished leave green-red pom-pom seedheads behind.
The bees love it.
